April 23, 2018 I woke up to the whisper of the words Binary Code. I knew this to be the series of 0s and 1s the language of computers and that is about all. I am no geek, I am in fact, what I would consider an illiterate of such language. Anyway, a couple of hours later I came across this prophetic word listed the same day:
You are the key to someone else’s problems. You are the key to someone else’s solution. You are the key that will unlock the mysteries of God’s glory from within. You are the code-breaker, the safe-keeper, the Rubik’s Cube and the calculator. You are the hard-drive with all of God’s answers! I hear the Lord saying, “I AM entrusting My people with greater access today. I AM entrusting My people with a greater authority to access wisdom and knowledge, more than ever before. You will be and have the key to find solutions that nobody else can. You are the key!”
This prophetic word was very timely about other things as well and you can read it in its’ entirety here.
After reading this I saw a vision in front of my open eyes of a DNA strand with one segment of it lit up, and I had the impression that the Holy Spirit was saying that DNA was a code, a code that could be broken. Through the prophetic He can identify for us any segment of DNA that causes problems and tell us how to speak to it to cause it to realign and regroup with new DNA to work properly!
To say that the Lord was speaking to me about mysteries beyond my ability to understand was an understatement! With the vision of this segment of the strand of DNA like a picture in front of me that would not go away, I went to Google! Lo and behold, of course, there are of course thousands of pages of information. People have already asked these questions about DNA being a type of binary code. I am writing about this in part to process what I am learning.
How does this fit in with a biblical world view? What does God say? Well for one we can begin at Psalm 139 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made your works are wonderful, I know that full well.15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
What science has learned about DNA in the last few decades is now catching up with what was already revealed in the bible. Our identity is made up of chromosomes bound together in a double helix ladder very much like the process of knitting. To think that there are three billion letter options possible in each collection of 26 chromosomes! And the Lord is intimately acquainted with each nucleotide!
The discovery of CRISPR made it possible to isolate segments of DNA to discover possible genetic causes and cures for illness such as cancer and Alzheimer’s. The process of genetic engineering has so many medical and ethical questions involved!
There are obstacles that must be overcome before such treatments can become routine, including the potential for CRISPR to cause off-target effects — where the editing snips unintended areas of DNA sequence. No one knows yet how this tampering could affect us in the future.
So what was it the Holy Spirit showed me when He highlighted that DNA strand with a highlighted sequence? He is the Creator. If something goes wrong with His Creation, then He can tell us the secret to fix it!
I hear the Holy Spirit tell me that He can tell us the details of such information if we are willing to listen.
For those who are intelligent in these matters forgive my crude introduction to this ocean of knowledge on which I am just embarking.
It is only a tiny hint of the kind of knowledge and wisdom that resides in heaven’s library if we linger there.
